Scientific background:
1976: Graduated from the Moscow State University, Psychology Department, Chair of Psychology of Work and Engineering Psychology
1976-1979: Post-graduate course of the Psychology Department of the Moscow State University; obtained the degree of "Candidate of Psychological Sciences" at the Moscow State University. Title of the Thesis "Sporadic errors of human operator and methods its preventation" (1981)
1979-1988: researcher of the Institute of Protection of Work, Institute of Aviation and Space Medicine, etc
1989-1990: Chief psychologist of the Civil aviation of the USSR
1990-1992: researcher of the Centre of Human Studies of Russian Academy of Sciences
from 1992: Head of the Laboratory of Virtualistics of the Institute of Human Studies (Russian Academy of Sciences)
1994: obtained the degree of "Doctor of Psychological Sciences" at the State Institute of Technical aesthetics. Title of the Thesis "Psychology of Virtual Realities and Analisys of Human Operator's Errors".
1997: Laboratory of Virtualistics is transformed in Centre of Virtualistics.
Subjects of interest: aviation psychology, human errors, altered states of consciousness, philosophy and psychology of virtual reality, human resource. Published 70 articles and 10 books (in Russian): "Design of Work Activity: 1910-1919.
