      Annotation

The idea of virtuality is a special philosophical category. The idea should give a great influence on a modern society. Author compiles a data on virtual realities (VR) from different scientific areas: computer technology, phisics, psychology, ergonomics, philosophy etc. He distinguishes following traits of VR: actuality, interactivity, designed. Psychological VR (PsVR) is one of the types of VR. PsVR is a product of the human mind. PsVR is a metalevel (metareality) in comparison with basic (constant) mental reality. There are two types of PsVR: consuetal (usual status of the mental metareality) and virtual (extraordinate status of the mental metareality). On the own behalf, virtuality can be devided onto two different energetic areas: higher (gratual) and lower (ingratual) than constant reality. Virtuality has following characteristics: altered state of reality, altered state of personality, altered state of consciousness, altered state of will. Author describes a theoretical model of PsVR, experiments with virtual and consuetal states, phenomenology of PsVR in different areas: sport, aviation, fine arts etc. Original methods of an investigation of pilot errors were prepared on the basis of the PsVR. All of them are described in the book. Psychology of Angels, described by J.Boehme and E.Swedenborg, is interpeted on the basis of PsVR. Author also analyses psychological derivatives of St.Basil's the Great and St.Isaac's the Sirian religious-philosophical concepts.
